  • How do I set up an account?
    It’s simple. As a new customer, when you add a product to your shopping cart you will have the option to “proceed to checkout” or to “continue shopping”. When you click “checkout”, you will go to the next page with a choice between “New Customers” or “Returning Customers”. If you are a new customer, you simply click “Continue” and fill in the requested information under “New Customer Registration”. Once the checkout process has been completed, now your account information is safely saved in our database. The next time you return to matthewizzo.com, you will login as a “Returning Customer”.

  • What are my Payment Options?
    matthewizzo.com currently accepts VISA, MASTER CARD, DISCOVER and AMERICAN EXPRESS credit cards. You can safely enter your credit card number via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information via SSL. You may also pay with your Paypal account if you wish.

  • Will I be taxed?
    matthewizzo.com is required by law to charge sales tax on orders SHIPPED TO Pennsyvania addresses, which is calculated and itemized during the online ordering process. No sales tax will be applied to orders shipped to addresses in other states.

    We utilize the latest technology for shopping and ecommerce security. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. All orders are transmitted over secure Internet connections using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology. All of your personal information including your credit card information and sign-in password are stored in encrypted format at all times. This website, and more importantly all user information, is further protected by a multi-layer firewall based security system. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Paypal and Authorize.net also take significant security measures to protect your information. To ensure that your connection is secure, look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window after accessing the server. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser), then SSL is active and the server is secure. You can also double-check by looking at the web address (URL) window of your browser. When accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https."   • How long will it take for my clothing order to ship?
    Clothing orders usually ship within one to two days from time of payment. However inconsistent data and billing information may delay your order so please double check shipping details. As a reminder UPS does not ship on the weekends so an order placed friday may not ship out till monday morning. We will email you to confirm the order and supply you with a tracking number.

  • How long will it take for my furniture order to ship?
    Upon approval and verification of credit card information, orders will be processed for shipment. Inconsistent data and billing information may delay your order. Certain orders may require special processing due to limited quantities on particular items. Matthewizzo.com will notify customers who have placed orders for these “out of stock” items. On average, most items are shipped within 1 week. However, some items have longer lead times, including custom orders that may take up to 10 weeks. Each product should specify the shipping time estimation. We provide you a specific estimate of the lead time for any of the products on our site, directly on each product page.   • Do you ship internationally?
    We can ship most anywhere. For international orders please email us at shop@matthewizzo.com and we will figure out the shipping costs for your order. Please include in the email what items you are interested in purchasing and the address where it needs to be shipped. We will send you a paypal request for payment.

  • How and where do you ship?
    Currently, matthewizzo.com offers FREE SHIPPING** on orders of $40 or more for all items. **Please note: Furniture orders being shipped to NYC will have a NYC surcharge added after your payment has processed. This is due to increased shipping costs into the city. You will recieve an email notifying you of the surcharge and asking you to confirm. For any items that do not have free shipping, it will be noted on the product page and shipping costs will be provided during check-out. Deliveries to the 48 contiguous states will be made via UPS Ground or by common carrier depending on the overall weight of your order. The shipping costs are calculated for you during the checkout process. We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. You must provide a street address. Unless otherwise specified with "White Glove Service" on the product page, matthewizzo.com does not provide installation, assembly or physical delivery of furniture into residences or businesses. Installation, assembly or physical delivery of furniture into residences or businesses may be available through the shipping company. Any costs for installation, assembly or physical delivery of furniture into residences or businesses are the responsibility of the purchaser and not matthewizzo.com, unless otherwise specified with "White Glove Service" on the product page. Some matthewizzo.com furniture requires assembly.

    For larger items, please specify any special delivery instructions in the "Comments" area during checkout. Let us know about narrow streets, staircases in apartment buildings, etc. Some delivery companies may charge more if there are abnormal shipping/delivery circumstances.   • Are your shipments insured against damage?
    Yes. Every shipment is insured against damage and we request that you carefully inspect your merchandise upon receipt and notify us immediately if you notice any damage due to transit. To successfully expedite any damage claim, you must keep the original packing material that the item(s) arrived in and print the words, "Damaged Upon Arrival" next to where you sign for the merchandise. Digital or traditional photographs can also be very helpful tools in assisting us to expedite a damage claim.

  • What is Freight Shipping?
    Certain items available on matthewizzo.com are required to be shipped via a 3rd party freight carrier, rather than standard carriers, because they are too heavy or require special handling. If your purchase will be delivered via a Freight service, you will be contacted by the Freight company via telephone 1-2 days prior to delivery to schedule a delivery appointment. You will need to be present to sign for the item. Unless otherwise specified with "White Glove Service" on the product page, all shipments coming via Freight are brought to the curbside only. Unless "White Glove" is specified, freight shipping does not include “white glove” service, assembly, installation or delivery to inside a residence or office. Freight carriers do offer in-home or in-office delivery for an additional charge. Please inquire directly with the Freight company when they contact you.

  • What if I am not completely satisfied with my purchase?
    We pride ourselves on offering the highest quality merchandise. If you are not delighted with your purchase, please contact us for a return authorization and return the unused item in its original condition within 7 days of delivery and we will refund you for the returned item less shipping costs. All other returns will receive an online store credit (less shipping costs). NO RETURN WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER.

    Most items* can be returned for a refund minus the shipping costs if postmarked within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused or unworn and unassembled, in their original condition, and in their original packaging, complete with all tags, instructions, and insert. (*Exceptions are products that are custom made, special order, sale and clearance items, apothecary, under garments, jewelry and swimwear.)Items not meeting the above requirements may be denied a refund.

    If the return is not due to damaged merchandise, you will be responsible for the shipping cost back to matthewizzo.com. If you are returning the item, please ship with a carrier that provides tracking numbers and request insurance to ensure safe return.

    Credit card orders will receive refunds in the form of a credit. Paypal accounts are refunded via paypal. Store credits will be emailed to you and are usable online or in our boutiques. Most credits process within 2-3 days of our receiving the return.

    Please be aware that furniture is highly susceptible to damage during transit. We take great care to pack shipments so that they will arrive safely. You may have to provide supplementary packing materials if the outer carton has been worn during the original trip out to you. Please ship with a carrier that provides tracking numbers and request insurance to ensure safe return.

    Be sure to inspect all packages for damage before signing for the package. If damage is visible, reject the shipment, be sure the driver notes the damage and contact matthewizzo.com as soon as possible. We will file a damage claim with the shipper and ship a replacement as soon as possible.

    If the item(s) sent was incorrect, or defective, please contact customer service by phone or email. Please do not send back any items prior to contacting matthewizzo.com. We must receive goods in new condition to fully credit you for the return or exchange. We cannot accept collect deliveries (COD’s).

    For all returns and exchanges: Please call or contact us via email to get a return authorization. No returns we be excepted without a return authorization number. Call for return authorization: 1-888-549.3566 M-S 11am-8pm EST, Sun 12pm-6pm. Or email us at shop@matthewizzo.com.

  • How do i exchange a piece of clothing for a different size?
    If you need to exchange an item for a different size please contact us for an exchange authorization. Return the item to us as directed and we will send out the new size once we receive the original item. You are responsible for the return shipping costs for the item being returned. We will pay for shipping back to you for the first exchange. **Note free shipping applies to the first exchange only.

  • What if I want to cancel my furniture order?
    Furniture orders that are special order can be canceled up to a seven days after the order is placed without incurring a restocking fee. After the seven days there will be a 20% restocking fee to cancel your furniture/accessories order.

  • What if I want to cancel my clothing order?
    We can cancel all non-special orders for clothing before the items are shipped. As we ship clothing within one to two days of the order please contact us immediately. Once an item is shipped it cannot be canceled without a restocking fee.
